*Invitation to an ASOG Event*



The Ateneo School of Government (ASoG) is the professional graduate school
of leadership and public service of the Ateneo de Manila University. The
ASoG’s main purpose is to serve as an institutional vehicle for the
development of public servants and a forum for dialogue and partnership
among government, private, non-government, and people’s organizations.
ASoG strives to remain at the forefront of discussion on current affairs
and to serve as a platform for discourse on such.  Among the many ongoing
issues in the country, national security has emerged as a key and vital
area of policy discussion, and there is a clear need to strengthen our
understanding and analysis of national security issues facing the
Philippines.


ASoG is therefore pleased to invite you to

*“Resilient Terror: *

*A Discussion on Violent Extremism, the Islamic State, and the Shifting
Global Order”*



on *Tuesday, 12th of March 2019*,

from *9:00 am to 11:00 am*

at the *Escaler Hall, Ateneo de Manila University*

*Loyola Campus, Quezon City.  *


Registration starts at 8:30am.  We are fortunate to have two resource
persons for the event, namely,

   - *Mr. Lars Erslev Andersen*, Senior Researcher on Global
   Transformations of the Danish Institute for International Studies, and
   - *Mr. David Timberman*, Former Fellow of the Freeman Spogli Institute
   for International Studies of Stanford University.
