[Blueboard] Mentoring for Disaster Resilience on March 30 (Apply by Feb. 20)

Through the Dept. of Biology and Dept. of Environmental Science, the Ateneo
de Manila University is part of a network of UK, EU and Asian universities
under an Erasmus+ project called *CABARET (Capacity Building in Asia for
Resilient Education).* CABARET aims to build capacity for international and
regional cooperation between Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) in Asia and
Europe, and among Asian HEIs themselves, to improve Multi Hazard Early
Warning (MHEW) and increase disaster resilience among coastal communities.
On March 30, the Erasmus+ CABARET project  and the AIS Climate Change and
Disaster Risk program will be co-hosting an event entitled *"Mentoring for

This event will provide opportunities for graduate students and exemplary
undergraduate students working on disaster risk and resilience to share
their research and practice, and to have short one-on-one sessions with the
disaster resilience experts of the CABARET project. Talks will talk place
in the morning until after lunch, with the mentoring sessions in the

The slots for presentations and one-on-one sessions are limited but the
talks are open to the public. We invite everyone to attend and meet our
