[Blueboard] The Rockefeller Foundation Bellagio Center Residency Competition – Next Deadline December 1, 2017

The Rockefeller Foundation is pleased to announce the biannual competition
for *academic writing residencies *at The Rockefeller Foundation Bellagio
 which *opens on October 1, 2017,* with a final deadline for applications
*December 1, 2017*
*Please encourage academics in your network to apply for a residency!*

*We invite you to share the latest **outreach flyer*
and post the flyer on listservs in addition to other communication
channels. *You may also want to direct prospective applicants to the
Rockefeller Foundation Bellagio Center website

Apart from the standard residency program, the Bellagio Center will host a
special thematic residency from November 5–30, 2018, with up to 15
academic, artist, and practitioner residents advancing work aligned with
the theme “Science for Development.” Academics whose work is advancing,
informing, communicating, or is inspired by the use or design of science
and technology to address social and environmental challenges around the
world are encouraged to apply in this upcoming competition opening on October
1. Please share this opportunity with those in your network who may be
interested in this exciting programming.

Lastly, to support future engagement between the Foundation and Bellagio
alumni, we are encouraging all alumni to complete a *short survey*
This survey is designed to support our understanding of your expertise and
how it may fit with the Foundation’s priorities going forward, and to help
us capture new contacts for future outreach efforts.
