*Job Summary:*



Under the supervision of
​the ​
Office
​for
 Social Involvement and Concern (OSCI) Director, the Student Affairs
Professional I assists the students in their formation and development
specifically, in the socio-cultural-political-spiritual aspects.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1.   NETWORKING

             INTERNAL

·         Coordinates the OSCI Programs with the relevant Academic
Departments and Offices in the Loyola Schools

·         Conducts program planning, feedback sessions and evaluation with
student formation offices and partner student  organizations

·         Coordinates with COA and the Sanggunian regarding program related
concerns

·         Coordinates with faculty, team members, other relevant
stakeholders for their programs and professional development

·         Organizes students for relief operations and advocacy campaigns



EXTERNAL

·         Coordinates with partner government institutions and agencies,
non-government organizations and institutions, people’s organizations,
parishes and grassroots communities

·         Conducts social investigation, planning, monitoring, feedback
sessions and evaluation with external stakeholders (partner institutions,
organizations, communities, JODAs)

·         Represents OSCI or the Ateneo de Manila University in conferences
as deemed necessary by the Director

·         Provides orientations and trainings for partner institutions and
communities necessary for their program tasks (monitoring, mentoring and
coaching, giving effective feedback, facilitation skills, adult learning
principles)



2.     MENTORING AND PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT

·         Facilitates the formation activities of the students specifically
in the socio-cultural-political-spiritual aspects

·         Conceptualizes and designs training and formation modules for
students

·         Makes himself/herself available for consultation with students

·         Mentors and coaches students in all aspects of their
formation specifically
in the socio-cultural-political-spiritual aspects

·         Mentors and coaches other team members

·         Administers and collates program evaluations with all stakeholders

·         Encodes and analyzes evaluation results of activities as deemed
necessary by the Team Leader

·         Participates in OSCI committees organizational or program
development



3.       ADMINISTRATIVE TASKS

·         Prepares and submits evaluation of students’ performance

·         Prepares and submits budget proposals for specific program
activities as assigned by the Team Leader

·         Handles encashment of cheques, disbursement and liquidation of
budget for co-formators as assigned by the Team Leader

·         Facilitates team and office meetings as deemed necessary by the
Director/ Assistants to the Director/ Team Leader

·         Submits venue requests to the Office Assistant for program and
student activities

·         Evaluates team members as assigned by the Director

·         Evaluates the program specifically in the
socio-cultural-political-spiritual aspects and the office

·         Participates in program and office planning

·         Reports weekly plan of activities

·         Handles logistics necessary for program implementation

·         Attends OSCI functions (plenary sessions, trainings/seminars,
workshops, retreats and recollections, community building activities,
advocacy work, evaluation & planning sessions)

·         Attends team functions (program planning of processes and student
activities, weekly meetings, trainings, workshops, team processing
sessions, team building activities)

·         Participates in Ateneo Dream Team Relief Operations  and Faculty
Day



*Qualifications:*

1.    College degree holder preferably related to Social Development

2.    With 1-2 years’ work experience in social development & formation work

3.    Experience in coordinating with non-government organizations
and government

        organizations is an advantage

4.    Strong facilitation skills; can process group sessions

5.    Excellent good communication and interpersonal skills

6.    Has planning and organization skills, which includes budgeting

7.    Knowledge in designing learning programs is an advantage
