The Office of International Relations (OIR) is pleased to announce the 3rd
call for applications for faculty, administrative staff, and student
mobility grants to Portuguese universities under the framework of the* ERASMUS+
MERGING VOICES *project of the Universidade Nova de Lisboa (UNL) in
partnership with selected universities.

Erasmus+ is the new EU program for 2014-2020 which aims to boost skills and
employability. Through generous financial grants, Erasmus+ supports
transnational partnerships among education, training and youth institutions
and organizations to foster cooperation and bridge the worlds of education
and work in order to tackle the skills gaps in Europe (
http://ec.europa.eu/programmes/erasmus-plus/discover/index_en.htm).

The MERGING VOICES consortium (MV) is based on institutional trust, founded
on the excellent cooperation links developed among its partners during the
last years. The MV is built on a strong cooperation, connecting Portugal’s
North and South and bringing together some of the best practices that
Portugal has to offer. The sharing of common ideas and priorities for
international development coined the decision to present this new
consortium (http://mergingvoices.unl.pt/general_information).

The Portuguese Higher Education Institutions that form this consortium and
which will act as host institutions are the following:

1. Universiade Nova de Lisboa
        http://www.unl.pt/en/

2. Universidade do Algarve
        https://www.ualg.pt/en

3. Universiade de Trás-Os-Montes e Alto Douro
