*Join triathlete and GMA  news anchor Raffy Tima with Ateneo alumni and
international dance coach Philip Pamintuan in a Fitness Forum, "Don't Wish
for It, Work for It," on Feb. 2, 2017, 3:00 p.m. at SOM 111.*

Want to try new ways to be stronger, have more energy,  and stay fit? As
little as 30 minutes of exercise three to five days a week may add about 6
more productive years to your life.  Sign up for after-school “Get Fit
Don’t Quit” Fitness Programs.  Prepare to work-out, dance-off and find
yourself a Fitness Buddy. Enrolment will be ongoing from Feb. 1-10, 2017,
on a first come, first served basis at the Office of Health Service, Room
105, Social Science Building with a minimum participation fee.

*CARDIO ZUMBA ( Tuesdays, 5:30 pm)*

Enjoy upbeat Latin-inspired dance workouts with a certified Zumba
Instructor Mr. Archie Rodriguez  for a full-body workout to loosen up those
muscles after a long day and burn away those extra calories.  An average
person burns around 600 to 1000 calories in an hour of Zumba classes.

 *ZUMBA FITNESS (Thursdays, 5:30 pm)*

Workouts don’t have to feel like workouts with Ateneo alumni and
international dance coach, Mr. Philip Pamintuan.  Dance off pounds and
sculpt lean muscles while strengthening your core muscles and improving

*CIRCUIT TRAINING (Mondays and Wednesdays, 5:30 pm)*

Burn up to 10 calories per minute and get the benefit of upper-, lower- and
core-body workouts designed to strengthen, build endurance, and sculpt your

*CARDIO AEROBICS (Tuesdays and Thursdays, 5:30 pm)*

Energize your week with full-body work-outs that boost your metabolism,
 strengthen muscles while reducing the risk for cardiovascular disease and

*HIP HOP DANCING (Wednesdays, 5:30 pm)*

Learn the latest in hip hop from internationally acclaimed Ateneo alumni
Mr. Reflex Gotangco.  Dance routines that improve agility, flexibility,
endurance and muscle strength with dance moves that burn calories in a rate
equivalent to stair climbing.

*VINYASA YOGA (Tuesdays, 5:30 pm)*

Vinyasa may be a good choice for a good workout you can do with lightness,
ease and relaxation.   Vinyasa introduces poses that run together in time
with breathing exercises that become like a smooth dance.

*BALLROOM DANCING (Mondays, 5:30 pm)*

Be ready to (Re-)discover a timeless life-time skill and have fun while you
burn calories as multi-awarded Ateneo alumni Jan Cerezo will lead you
through dance workouts that enhance joint mobility, bone strength,
flexibility, and coordination.

*BASIC SWIMMING (Saturdays, 12:00 nn)*

Splash your way to low impact cardio and strength training good for toning,
flexing and building muscle endurance whether you are an athlete or someone
dealing with arthritis with Coach Mac Asajar.

The “Get Fit Don’t Quit” Fitness Program is a collaborative program of the
Office of Health Services with the P.E. Department, with the support of the
Office of Student and Administrative Services. For more inquiries on
