Law School

*Job Summary*

Under the supervision of the Assistant to the Registrar of the Law School,
the IT Assistant III provides web maintenance and technical support in the
daily office operation of the Law School.

*Job Responsibilities*

1.     Network Infrastructure Support

·   Assists the administration, faculty, and students for network related

·  Sets-up Wifi connectivity for the administration, faculty and studentsin
coordination with the Campus Network Group

2.     Computing Services Support

·  Maintains and upgrades the hardware, software and basic network
requirements of the department in coordination with ITRMO for the licenses
and network protocols

·  Coordinates with the suppliers for the hardware and software
requirements of the Law School and its sub-units

·   Installs and updates the anti-virus of all computers in the Law School
in coordination with ITRMO

·    Maintains and troubleshoots all Law School computers, printers,
scanners and other IT related equipment

·    In charge of the hardware and software inventory of the entire

3.     Other Technical Support

·  Edits, updates and enhances the Law School’s website in coordination
with the Assistant to the Dean and ITRMO

·    Assists the administration, faculty, and students for computer related

·    Supports the Office of the Registrar during enrollment

·    Sets-up equipment for meetings, seminars, classes and other Law School

·     Deploys computer kiosk in the campus for internet usage

·     Configures Ateneo based e-mail accounts for Law School community in
coordination with ITRMO for the requirements

·     Helps in designing print collaterals

4.     Performs other related tasks that may be assigned by the immediate


1.   Graduate of BS Information Technology, Computer Engineering or other
computer related course

2.    With 2 years of IT related work experience

3.   Experience in the academe set up is an advantage

4.   Has working knowledge in the following:

o    Hardware and software installation and troubleshooting

o    Web designing and maintenance

o    Networking

5.   Proficient in MS Office Applications

6.   Good communication and interpersonal skills

7.   Has initiative and willing to learn

8.   Highly organized, multitasking and a team player
