*MARAWI STRIFE** DISASTER RESPONSE:*

*CALL FOR DONATIONS IN CASH*



The Ateneo de Manila University, through its Disaster Response and
Management (DReaM) Team, issues this *revised **appeal for donations only
in cash *to meet relief needs of certain groups of *victims of the ongoing
strife* *in Marawi City*.



Among other forms of assistance as may be appropriate time, the donations
shall this time be used: (a) to support/enable the conduct of *psycho-social
interventions* with certain groups of victims/others adversely affected by
the strife. Such service shall be rendered by competent members of the
University's psychology community and its allies, in partnership with other
Jesuit institutions and with the MSU-IIT in Iligan City; and (b) to
purchase *clothing (shirts/blouses, shorts/skirts) for schoolchildren*
*displaced
from Marawi City* staying in evacuation centers in the municipalities of
Saguiaran and Piagapo (or other areas) in Lanao del Sur.


*Cash donations may be made to the Ateneo de Manila University in any of
the ways indicated below**.*



*In the event excess funds are realized from this donation drive specific
to this particular disaster event and no further relief or rehabilitation
efforts are forthcoming, the excess funds will be moved to a General Fund
that will be used as a standing fund for future disaster response
operations, especially those requiring immediate assistance.*

located at Xavier Hall (Windows 7 and 8), the Grade School, the High
School, and the Professional Schools at the Rockwell campus in Makati.

Local corporate donors may request Certificates of Donation from the
cashiers in Xavier Hall.

Express Online Facility. Enrollment of the Ateneo DReaM Team account with
the donor’s BPI account is a pre-requisite to making donations through this
portal.

a. Log in to www.bpiexpressonline.com.
b. Follow the enrollment process.
c. Choose “Ateneo DReaM Team” from the list of Merchants under Company Name
d. Input name of donor or “Anonymous” in the reference field.
e. A confirmation page will appear to signify completion of the enrollment.
An email message will also be sent to confirm enrollment.

*Making a donation:*

a. Log in to www.bpiexpressonline.com.
b. From the main menu, select: Payments & Reloading > Bills Payment > Pay
Bills Today.
c. Input the necessary information. Choose “Ateneo DReaM Team” among the
enrolled merchants to be paid.
d. A confirmation page will appear to signify completion of the payment. An
email message will be sent to confirm the payment.
e. Forward the payment confirmation email to vpsd at ateneo.edu. Please
indicate also the name that should appear on the official receipt, the
complete email address, the postal address where to mail the official
receipt, and the disaster response campaign being donated to (e.g.Marawi
 strife).

*Check payments through the Philippine Jesuit Foundation*

Donations in US dollars may be sent through the Philippine Jesuit
Foundation (PJF). PJF is a duly registered and qualified charitable
organization in the USA. Donations to the PJF are deductible gifts under
the U.S. Tax Code Section 501(c)(3). *PJF will charge a 7% service fee to
cover the cost of processing the donations. *Donations will be remitted by
PJF net of 7% to the Ateneo through the Philippine Jesuit Aid Association
(PJAA). PJAA is the Development Office of the Philippine Province of the
Society of Jesus.

“PJAA fao DReaM Team - Marawi strife.”



CJI will transmit the donation to the Philippine Jesuit Aid Association
(PJAA) in Loyola Heights, Quezon City. PJAA is the Development Office of
