*Information Technology and Resource Management Office (ITRMO)*



*Job Summary:*



Under the supervision of the Information Technology and Resource Management
Office (ITRMO) Director, the position will be the point person for various
IT projects, and as such, ensures systematic management of projects in the
University



*Duties & Responsibilities*


*1.   **Performs project management responsibilities:*

     ·   Acts as the point person for various IT projects, including
systems development projects, IT assessment projects, IT planning, IT
Service Management, and E-Learning System implementation

     ·  Coordinates with system clients, systems developers (in-house or
outsourced) and systems administrators

       ·    Facilitates evaluation and selection of project development
group

       ·    Facilitates definition of scope, requirements of the system to
be developed

       ·    Facilitates design and implementation of the system

       ·    Monitors and reports progress of systems development projects

       ·    Facilitates maintenance of the system

       ·    Facilitates creation of project contracts

        .   Creates statement of work

        ·    Conducts user training

        ·     Coordinates with ISG Manager re University Information System
Architecture



*2.    **Performs systems analysis responsibilities:*

        ·    Systematically gathers data on various IT resources and
services

     ·   Gathers data regarding the goals and methods used in existing
processes; identifies bottlenecks in procedure and facilitating the process
of identifying user requirements for information systems

          ·    Evaluates and compares off-the-shelf solutions

          ·    Presents prototype or paper design to users to gain feedback
and buy-in

          ·    Coordinates with PM re client request

          ·    Produces user manuals and user guides if necessary

          ·     Trains users

          ·    Provides support for ad hoc administrative reports

          ·   Supervises the project team

         ·   Manages and monitors Jr. Developers and Sr. Developer 1 who
are part of the project team

  Qualifications:

        1.   Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology,
Computer Engineering, or related course

          2.       With Team lead/supervisory experience

          3.       With at least 6 years work experience in at least one of
the following:

   - Systems Development/Software Engineering
      - I.T. Project  Management

           4.    With trainings/relevant experience on:

·    Project Management
