Pathways to Higher Education

*Job Summary*

Under the supervision of the Director for Pathways, the Project Program
Officer for Institutional Relations, assists the Director in
conceptualizing and executing marketing collaterals and other
publicity-related and information dissemination materials. He/She will
coordinate with students, parents and other stakeholders for donor-related
requirements, monitors timeliness of donor sponsorships as well as timely
and appropriate responses from Pathways (letter, email, on social media,

*Job Responsibilities*

*1.    **Marketing & Public Relations (Communication)*

1.1.  Spearheads the development of the PR and Communications Plan for
internal and external stakeholders as well as potential supporters and
volunteers (ex. Newsletters, etc);

1.2.  Spearheads the conceptualization and execution of marketing
collaterals to help raise awareness and funds for Pathways;

1.3.  Manages Pathways’ social media / online presence (FB, Twitter,
website, etc);

1.4.  Responds to initial and basic queries re: donations and ways to

*2.    **Relationship Building (Stakeholder Identification)*

2.1.  Identifies additional ways to engage new donors, nurture existing
donors, volunteers and other stakeholders (individuals)

2.2.  Identifies opportunities to partner with institutions who can support
Pathways programs (universities, foundations, companies, etc.)

2.3.  Seeks out opportunities to apply for grants and prepares necessary
proposals, documents, etc

*3.    **Relationship Management (Stakeholder Care)*

3.1.  Coordinates with students, parents and other stakeholders for
donor-related requirements (letters, videos, face to face meetings, Skype
calls, etc)

3.2.  Prepares the donor reports and other donor correspondence.

3.3.  Plans and executes events and activities for donors, partners, etc.

*4.    **Others*

4.1.  Assists the Director in all other matters pertaining to donors,
partners, volunteers and other stakeholders;

4.2.  Assists the Director and Program Officer for all matter pertaining to
school and scholarship application


1.    Preferably a graduate of Development Studies, Development
Communication, Communication Arts, Behavioral Sciences, Management or

o   Experience in the area of education is strongly recommended

2.    Preferably with relevant marketing experience either in the corporate
or NGO sector

3.    Must have working knowledge of graphic and publication tools such as
Adobe Photoshop, Pagemaker and MS Publisher or equivalent tools and programs

4.    Must be knowledgeable in website development and updating

5.    Must be skilled in documentation (photo, video, written, etc) and
promotion of activities using different media

6.    Must be organized, systematic and efficient with excellent attention
to detail and can work with minimal supervision

7.    Proficiency in both English and Filipino desirable
