*Program: *JVO Executive Education Program
*Location:* SDC Complex, Ateneo de Manila University, Katipunan Ave. Quezon
City
*Position:* Project Associate- full time
*Duration:* Six Months (Renewable)
*Report to: *JVO Executive Education Director


*Project Description and Objectives:*

The JVO Executive Education Program (ExecEd) is a unit under the Ateneo
School of Government (ASoG) which offers short, focused and customized
training programs to local and national government agencies, civil society
groups, private organizations and donor-institutions to concretize
strategies for sustainable development.

The JVO Executive Education Program trains political leaders, civil
servants and corporate managers in ethical governance and sustainable
development.


*Scope of Work*

The ExecEd Program is currently on the lookout for qualified candidates for
PROJECT ASSOCIATE, who will:

A. Assist the ExecEd Director in the smooth flow of day-to-day research and
administrative operations of the program

1. Provide technical assistance to the ExecEd Director.
2. Be able to handle projects and other related task that may be assigned
based on any of the interests of the School.
3. Develop and package training/research proposals for various donors and
clients.
4. Prepare and write project proposals on training and technical assistance
on various governance topics and prepare documentation and terminal reports
for ExecEd clients.
5. Participate in the data gathering and analysis of various research
projects conducted by the ExecEd and its partners.
6. Coordinate with the finance unit of the School for budget and financial
related aspect of the program.
7. Coordinate with the concerned team of the School for press releases,
updating the website and other communication requirements of the ExecEd.
8. Represent the unit in meetings, conferences, etc. which may be assigned
by the Dean and/or ExecEd Director.
9. Perform other related research and administrative tasks.

B. Provide logistical support on online learning/ training activities with
the use of online portal

C. Assist the ExecEd Director in implementation of ExecEd Trainings

1. Involved in the pre-design and implementation of specific activities of
the Executive Education Program projects.
2. Perform research-related work in training such as preparation of
training needs assessment and other special research activities.
3. Facilitate the conduct of activities such as seminars, workshops, and
forums.
4. Spearhead pre-training preparation such as logistics, documentations,
etc.
5. Spearhead post-training documentation such as liquidations, etc.

D. Participate in the development of proposals for various types of
projects which the School participates in through bidding, commissioned
projects, etc.


*Qualifications*

The minimum qualifications for the abovementioned position are:

1. A graduate of political science, sociology, economics, philosophy or any
related social science courses-- fresh graduates are welcome to apply;
2. Strong systems approach in project development and implementation;
3. Excellent research, presentation, and above average communication (oral
and written) skills;
4. Must have effective interpersonal skill and ability to work and interact
with various teams and groups of people;
5. Can work independently and efficiently in a fast- paced collaborative
environment
6. Experiences in training facilitation and proposal development will be an
advantage.
