*Trivia Contest for the Day*
*Q:* This book about Ponte City (or Ponte Tower) in Johannesburg is about a
building originally constructed for "white" people that was part of the
gentrification of South Africa—now considered a symbol of urban decay. It
was built during a very sensitive period of racial segregation in South
Africa. What is this period of "the state of being apart" usually known as?

*About the Exhibit*
This year's photo book exhibit is organized by the Konrad Adenauer Asian
Center for Journalism at the Ateneo de Manila University (ACFJ),
Goethe-Institut Philippinen and Rizal Library, with the support of the
Department of Modern Languages, European Studies Program, and Fine Arts
Program. It runs from October 5 to 30 from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
