*Project Assistant to the Coordinator for Student Support and Specialized
Services *

*Loyola Schools*

*Job Summary:                *

Under the supervision of the Coordinator for Student Support and
Specialized Services, the Project Assistant provides administrative,
coordination, monitoring, and assessment support. The engagement will be
for nine (9) months.

*Duties and Responsibilities:*

*1.      **Frontline and Coordination Support*

·   Attends to calls from parents, staff and faculty members reporting
referrals (of students with special needs)

·   Maintains and updates records of students reported to be with special

·   Assists the Coordinator  collaborate with other Loyola Schools offices

    (e.i. Office of Guidance and Counseling, Office of Health Services and

    Office of the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs) and outside experts

    looking after the welfare of students with special needs

·   Assists in calling the students for follow up, when needed

*2.      **Monitoring Support *

·  Assists in monitoring the students with special needs for the services

·  Assists in monitoring in the list for students who needs to be followed
up by the counselor or health services

·  Assists in monitoring off campus dorm facilities, when needed

*3.   **Administrative Support Function *

·   Provides secretarial and clerical support  for the office

·   In-charge of logistics for committee meeting

·   Monitors office budget and assists in the liquidation of  expense

*4.      **Assessment Support*

·   Assists the Coordinator assess the student’s needs, when needed

·   Assists the Coordinator when two or more students are being attended to
especially on emergency cases

5.       Performs other tasks assigned by the Coordinator.


1)  Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Behavioral Science, Social  Work,

     Guidance and   Counseling or Nursing

2)  With one year work experience in social work or related field

3)   High interpersonal skills, can relate well with different

4)   With people skills

5)   Excellent facilitation and  probing skills

6)   Good oral and  written communication skills
