Loyola School of Theology and the Theology and Ministry Program of the
School of Humanities, Ateneo de Manila University cordially invite the
Korean Community of Metro Manila to a Seminar on:

Spirituality and Social Justice: The Korean Experience
'오늘날 한국사회 안에서의 사회정의와 영성'.

The speaker will be Fr. Park Mun-su, S.J. of the Korean Province of the
Society of Jesus.

It will be held on Monday, November 30, 2015, from 9:00 am to 12 noon at the
 Calungsod Hall of LST. Registration begins at 8:00 am.

The Seminar will be in Korean. To cover operational costs, a Registration
Fee of PhP 200 will be requested from participants.

*Abstract: Focusing on a few representative social justice issues, this
seminar to be conducted in the Korean language will help participants to
understand the Korean experience and the spirituality which has been an
important part of Catholic Church social involvement in Korea.  This
presentation will look at opposition to the four major rivers project,
opposition to nuclear power and its associated high voltage transmission
towers, opposition to the Gangjeong naval base, support for the workers
layed-off by the Ssangyong Corporation, and support for the families of the
Sewol Ferry Boat accident.*
