A one-day gathering of professional journalists, journalism educators, and
civil society advocates who have worked with ACFJ under the Press Freedom
2.0 Philippine Project. The project seeks to build ACFJ’s capability to
support the operations of the Asian news media, among others, by training
journalists to report about governance issues.

Conference topics include the global and local media terrains, contemporary
civil society, and the working relationships between the news media and
civil society organizations, and the elements of a course

The program brings together the department’s faculty, both those teaching
in degree programs as well as in the ACFJ professional programs to
learn from each other as well as from resource persons about tools and
practices in blended learning. Conference topics include innovations in
journalism education, blended learning tools and tactics, social media and
online learning, and uses of multimedia for teaching.
