program between the University of San Francisco and Ateneo de Manila
University, the Office of International Relations (OIR) would like to
announce a job vacancy at the Casa Bayanihan Program.

*Casa Bayanihan Overview*

Casa Bayanihan <http://www.usfca.edu/sii/casa_bayanihan/> is an academic
program rooted in an educational model of justice and accompaniment.   Most
students are in their 3rd year of studies at a Jesuit college in the United
States or Ateneo de Naga University.  Students come to Metro Manila for 4
months (August-December; January-May) with the desire to integrate rigorous
academic studies with direct immersion in marginal communities.  The Casa
experience is an invitation for students not only to develop their ability
to think critically and analyze complexly, but also to transform their
hearts and minds.

The pillars of the Casa program are:  accompaniment of marginal communities
in Metro Manila; academic studies at the Ateneo de Manila; communal living
with other Casa students, and a commitment to develop one’s spirituality.

*Office Assistant Job Responsibilities: *

Supports company operations by maintaining office systems and physical

*Office Assistant Job Duties:*Maintains office services by organizing all
office and physical plant operations, including but not limited to:

·         Managing petty cash and purchasing card submissions

·         Coordinating bill payment and documentation

·         Controlling correspondence, including office mail and courier

·         Designing and maintaining filing systems (soft and hard copy

·         Maintaining supplies by checking stock to determine inventory
levels; anticipating requirements; placing and expediting orders; verifying
receipt; stocking items; delivering supplies to work stations

·         Maintaining all office equipment by completing preventive
maintenance; troubleshooting failures; calling for repairs; monitoring
equipment operation

·         Performing clerical functions, including organizing incoming
student information forms

·         Photocopying and printing documents

   - Managing reservations for company events, including bank deposits;
   creating invitations
   - Planning and preparation for events

·         Keeping management informed by reviewing and analyzing
evaluations; collecting and summarizing information; identifying trends

·         Preparing flyers, promotional material for the company

·         Coordinating program merchandise

·         Making deliveries to company partners

·         Managing student visas, student IDs and access to university
WiFi, maintaining the company’s relations with partner institutions

·         Updating company website

·         Supervising physical plant, following up on work results and
maintaining the company’s relations with partner institutions.

*Office Assistant Skills and Qualifications:*Bachelor’s degree required

Office Experience: General; Scheduling; Telephone and Email Skills; Typing;
Documentation Skills; Meeting Planning; Verbal Communication; Reporting
Skills; Written Communication, Dependability; Attention to Detail;
Excellent Time Management; Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Photoshop, and
Mac Office programs (iMovie, Numbers, Keynote, etc). Fluent in English;
Filipino preferred

Position: Part-time

Start date: August 2015
