*CAMPUS MINISTER *

*Grade School *



J*ob Summary:*
Under the supervision of Campus Ministry Office (CMO) Coordinator,
the Campus  Minister
provides administrative support to the Grade  School's Socio-Spiritual
Formation programs (anchored on Ignatian Spirituality).



Duties and Responsibilities:



1.       *CAMPUS MINISTRY OFFICE OPERATION *

Ø  Assist in the day-today operations of the Campus Ministry Office such as:

a.       encoding/photocopying and preparing of documents for all programs
and activities related to Campus Ministry Office

b.       handling the procurement of supplies and materials for the Campus
Ministry Office and all activities thereof

c.       accounting all monetary collections for the following: masses and
celebrations of the Word, PJAA and World Mission Sunday donations, other
monetary donations and contributions

d.       providing secretarial services for the Campus Ministry Office

e.       assisting the Campus Minister for Liturgy and Campus Minister for
Spiritual Formation for activities related to Campus Ministry

f.        coordinating with the De La Strada Parish concerns regarding Gr.
2 First Holy Communion

g.       assisting Alumni requests and inquiries with matters regarding
Confirmation and First Communion certificates

h.       facilitating various seasonal transactions with different campus
ministry offices within and outside the university

i.         assisting in the maintenance of the Campus Ministry Office



2.       *LITURGICAL ACTIVITIES*

Ø  Assist in the preparations of all liturgical activities like everyday
masses, school wide masses, other special events, such as:

a.       assisting in the implementation of the liturgical calendar for the
whole school year

b.       attending and preparing the regular meetings of the Campus
Ministry Committee

c.       coordinating with scholastics regarding aforementioned celebrations

d.       assisting in the necessary preparations for the daily masses in
the Chapel of the Holy Guardian Angels

e.       assisting in the necessary preparations for school wide masses and
special feast days during the school year: [First Friday Masses (January to
December), Mass of the Holy Spirit (June), Feast of St. Ignatius of Loyola
(July), Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary (Aug. 15), Birthday of the
Blessed Virgin Mary (Sept. 8), Feast of the Archangels & Holy Guardian
Angels (Sept. 29 & Oct. 2), Living Rosary (October), First Holy Communion
of Gr. 2 students (November), Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception (Dec.
8), Christmas Liturgy (December),Gr. 2 First Holy Communion (February) and
Thanksgiving Mass (March)] and documenting/filing the Liturgy for future
reference

f.        reserving of materials to be used for school wide mass (ex. LCD,
laptop, venue, school vehicle to fetch the presiders for the mass).



3.       *SPIRITUAL ACTIVITIES*

Ø  Assist in the preparations of all spiritual activities such as
confessions, close encounter with the Jesuits, celebrations of the word,
prayer sessions, parents forum series, living rosary, Advent & Lenten
confessions

a.       coordinating with other offices such as OMI & HRO regarding
spiritual programs for parents, faculty & staff

b.       assisting in the preparations for the confessions for the
following: Grs. 3 to 7 students during the school year, Gr. 2 students for
their First Holy Communion, faculty  & staff during Advent and Lent

c.       assisting in the preparations for the celebrations of the word for
Primary School (Gr. 1 - Gr. 3) such as preparing, photocopying and sending
the readings to the grade level ahead of time

d.       coordinating with scholastics regarding  "Close Encounter with the
Jesuits" for Gr. 5-6

e.       assisting in the necessary preparations for the prayer session for
faculty & staff

f.        assisting in the parents forum series and venues of seminars



4.       *MIDDLE SCHOOL RECOLLECTIONS*

Ø  Assist in the preparations for the recollections of Middle School
students such as:

a.       coordinating with Loyola House of Studies regarding the
availability of Jesuit Scholastics who will facilitate the recollections

b.       preparing the documents for communication with parents of students
who will have their recollection

c.       coordinating with the school's official photographer for proper
documentation of the recollection

d.       making arrangements for the venues to be used for the recollection

e.       preparing all the materials for recollection in coordination with
the Scholastics

f.        preparing the evaluation sheets for the students

g.       preparing the tokens for the recollection facilitators, GLC and
the teachers of the level

h.       organizing and filing the documents related to the recollection

i.         submitting to the CMO Coordinator pertinent documents related to
the recollection such as result of evaluation, financial report, pictures,
etc.





5.       *RETREATS*

Ø  Assist in the preparations for the retreats & recollections AGS
Personnel such as:

a.    assisting in the search for possible retreat houses

b.    coordinating with the Retreat Master who will facilitate the retreat

c.    communicating with faculty & staff who will attend the retreat

d.    coordinating with the school's official photographer for proper
documentation

e.    conferring with the management and making arrangement for the venue
of the retreat

f.     assisting during the retreats of AGS Personnel such as faculty,
staff, custodians, coaches and activity moderators

g.    preparing the evaluation sheets regarding the retreat

h.    preparing the tokens for the Retreat Master, Retreat house personnel,
driver

i.      organizing and filing documents related to the retreat

j.      submitting to the CMO Coordinator pertinent documents related to
the retreat such as result of evaluation, financial report, pictures, etc.)



6.       *OTHER TASKS:*

Ø  Perform other tasks that may be assigned by the Campus Ministry
Coordinator, Assistant Headmaster for Formation and the Headmaster.



a. attending regular meetings of the Assistant Headmaster for Formation and
the Campus Ministry Office

b.  assisting the chaplain and guest priests in attending to special needs
of the AGS community such as assisting during wake/burial masses and
anointing of sick members of the AGS personnel



*Qualifications:*

·         College degree with 12 graduate units

·         Has conducted a minimum of 8-10 retreats and/or recollections

·         Has undergone an Ignatian 3 day retreat

·         With one year of related work experience

·         Proficient in MS Office applications

·         Coordination skills

·         Excellent written & oral communication skills
