*Call for Applications: 2015 Korean Studies Exposure Trip*
The Ateneo Initiative for Korean Studies (AIKS) and the Sogang Global
Korean Studies Department invite undergraduate students of the Loyola
Schools, Ateneo de Manila University, to apply to the 2015 Korean Studies
The program aims to cultivate awareness of Korea and interest in Korean
Studies among Loyola Schools students.
A total of two (2) successful applicants will undergo nine (9) days of the
following activities between May and June:
Korean language training
Seminar on Korean Studies: Introduction to Korean History, Politics,
Society and Culture
Cultural Immersion (Homestay + Seoul Tour)
Registration and Tuition Fees at Sogang University
Cultural Immersion/Field Trip
Roundtrip Airfare (ticket will be bought by AIKS)
Visa fees, meals in Korea, travel and health insurance and incidentals
are NOT included; Visa application and all other travel arrangements
(except for ticket purchase) must also be processed/prepared by the
a) Undergrad student of Ateneo De Manila Loyola Schools *(PREFERRABLY
those who have taken/are currently taking any Korea-related course in
ADMU/pursuing a Minor in Korean Studies)*
(b) Those who have* NOT yet travelled to Korea*
Inquiries about the program and request for application forms may be

Completed and Signed Application Form must be submitted on or before *APRIL
by email to mcorrea at ateneo.edu *AND* aiks.ksip at gmail.com with
(2015 AIKS KOREAN STUDIES EXPOSURE TRIP). *Please note that ALL
applications must be sent by email to BOTH aforementioned email addresses.
Incomplete applications will not be processed.
The 2015 Korean Studies Exposure Trip is made possible through the
Academy of Korean Studies – Korean Studies Incubation Program Grant.
