*Program: *JVO Executive Education Program
*Location:* SDC Complex, Ateneo de Manila University, Katipunan Ave. Quezon
*Position: *Project Associate– full time
*Duration: *Six Months (Renewable)
*Report to:* JVO Executive Education Director

*Project Description and Objectives:*

The JVO Executive Education Program (ExecEd) is a unit under the Ateneo
School of Government (ASoG) which offers short, focused and customized
training programs to local and national government agencies, civil society
groups, private organizations and donor-institutions to concretize
strategies for sustainable development.

*Scope of Work*

The Project Associate will assist the JVO Executive Education Director in
implementing projects, particularly in the development, implementation and
evaluation of training activities. The work will also include substantial
proposal preparation of various types of projects that are being
implemented by the School on various key practice areas.

A. Provide technical assistance to the ExecEd Director in writing of
manuals, case studies, reports, etc.;
B. Undertake research work related to the development of trainers guide and
facilitators guide for the module development;
C. Translate research work into training cases relevant to the module;
D. Assist the ExecEd Director in the implementation of various projects and
programs of the ExecEd:

   - Involve in the pre-design and implementation of specific activities of
   the Executive Education Program activities
   - Perform research-related work in training such as preparation of
   training needs assessment and other special research activities
   - Facilitate the conduct of activities such as seminars, workshops, and
   - Spearhead pre-training and post training preparation such as
   logistics, documentations and liquidations

E. Participate in the development of proposals for various types of
projects which the School participates in through bidding, commissioned
projects, etc.;
F. Other responsibilities:

   - Answers telephone calls, queries and participants’ requests
   - Provides assistance to the ExecEd Director in School-related and
   extension activities that require the presence of the various units of the

The Project Associate must have the following qualifications:

   - A graduate of political science, sociology, economics, philosophy or
   any related social science courses- fresh graduates are welcome to apply;
   - Strong systems approach in project development and implementation;
   - Excellent research, presentation, and above average communication
   (oral and written) skills;
   - Must have effective interpersonal skill and ability to work and
   interact with various teams and groups of people;
   - Can work independently and efficiently in a fast- paced collaborative
