*POSITION: **    OBE PROGRAM COORDINATOR*



*The Position*

The Order of the Blue Eagles (OBE) Program Coordinator reports to the
Executive Director of the Ateneo Alumni Association (AAA) and works in
close coordination with the AAA Committee Members and Chairpersons, the
Board of Directors, staff and with all project stakeholders, consultants,
funders and government officials.



*Purpose of the Position*

The Program Coordinator is responsible for the planning, setting up,
coordination, implementation and evaluation of all activities related to
the OBE.



*Responsibilities*

The Program Coordinator is the primary communications and operations officer
 of the OBE, from planning and set-up, day-to-day operations to its
long-term goals and strategies.  Some essential duties of the Program
Coordinator are:

1.Development and Growth.  Set-up and establish the OBE Program under the
stewardship of the AAA ensuring the continuity, alignment and
implementation of the Program’s goals, policies and procedures.  This
responsibility requires close coordination with the the Ateneo de Manila
University.  It also involves intensive and strategic documentation as well
as developing and managing fund raising programs and activities of the OBE.

2.       Committee Functions. Facilitates the work of the OBE Committee by
conducting research and providing appropriate and relevant information to
assist the Committee in policy development and performance monitoring of
the Program. Convenes Committee and stakeholder meetings and assists
committee chairpersons as necessary. Provides recommendations to the
Committee that are consonant with the vision of the AAA and executes all
policies and decisions of the Board relevant to the Programs.

3.       Management and Secretariat Functions.  Carries out day-to-day
operations and ensures systems and procedures are properly in place and
executed to the standards expected by the Committee.  Ensures that programs
are carried out effectively and efficiently and meet the set deadlines.
Provides appropriate controls and accountability of all funds, physical
assets and other property.  Protects the Program’s legal interests and
maintains its operations within the law.  Supervises staff and personnel,
if any, to ensure that their capacities are optimized.  Reviews practices
and methods and initiates development of new ones as necessary to reduce
cost, encourage effectivity and professionalism and to improve efficiency.

4.      Communications.  Establishes and maintains an effective system of
communications internally and externally to build and sustain the
Programs.  Represents the OBE Committee in business relationships both
within and outside the Ateneo community.



*Required Skills, Qualifications and Experience*

·  Bachelor’s degree

·  Minimum 3 years direct work experience in a project management capacity,
including all aspects of process development and execution.

·  Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented,
collaborative environment

·  Skills: Leadership, Written and verbal English communication, Project
management, People management, Administrative and operations  know-how;
analytical and problem-solving capability, research, client- and service-
orientation; political sensitivity, familiarity with basic marketing,
accounting and finance,

·  Qualities: Organized, effective, efficient, diligent, thorough, capable
of long-term strategic planning and execution, personable, strives for
excellence and maintains a high level of integrity, persistent, flexible,
tenacious, open to learning, people-person

·  Alumnus/alumna of any Jesuit institution, preferred but not required

·  Between 25 to 40 years of age, preferred but not required
