*3RD NATIONAL AND 1ST INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE AND WORKSHOP ON
ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE*

*Strengthening ASEAN Partnership through Environmental Education and
Research *

*for a Sustainable Future*

The Philippine Consortium on Environmental Science and the CHED Technical
Committee on Environmental Science cordially invites the Ateneo Community
to the *3rd National and 1st International Conference and Workshop on
Environmental Science* on 24 – 25 November 2014 at the Leong Hall
Auditorium, Ateneo de Manila University, Loyola Heights, Quezon City.

This has been an annual event since 2012, and this year, the Ateneo de
Manila University, represented by the Department of the Environmental
Science and the Manila Observatory, will be hosting the event.

The conference and workshop theme this year is: Strengthening ASEAN
Partnership through Environmental Education and Research for a Sustainable
Future. Environmental education and research demonstrate the importance and
the need for both as a means to increase awareness on the present state of
the regional environment. Likewise, education and research enable people to
find ways to sustain natural resources and provide opportunities to create
sound development practices.

All environmental science practitioners, professionals, scholars,
professors, researchers and students are invited to participate in this
event through oral presentations, poster presentations, case study and work
group discussions, and teaching demos.

Registration for the conference is on-going. You may download the
