*PROGRAMMER*

(Department of Information Systems & Computer Science – Loyola Schools)



This position will support the eBayanihan project which is a nationwide
web-mobile based system for participatory disaster management



*Scope of work:*

·         Full-time development work on multiplatform applications

·         Design and implement web solutions using industry standard
technologies such as HTML, Rails, PHP, JavaScript, and MySQL

·         Provide input on the design and configuration of web platform to
maximize application performance

·         Recommend solutions and enhancements for new and existing web
applications

·         Recommend optimizations for code and design to promote
scalability of the web applications and optimize its performance



*Requirements:*

·         BS/ MS in Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Management
Information Systems or related

·         Programming Skills: HTML, Rails, PHP, Java, MySQL, JavaScript,
and other relevant web programming languages

·         Experience in test-driven development

·         Experience in at least one or more of the following development
frameworks for web and mobile: Google Web Toolkit/Java, Ruby on Rails,
Android, iOS

·         Demonstrates mastery of complex problem solving/ troubleshooting

·         Demonstrates mastery of code and database design

·         Minimum of 3 year web application development experience

·         Willing to work in Loyola Heights, Quezon City
