Subject : *POWER BULLETIN UPDATE* – Thursday, 17 July 2014

As advised by Meralco per Department of Energy press con 12:00 nn
today Meralco estimated full restoration on its lines by July 18, 10:00 pm.
However, NGCPs commitment is to energize the main lines only by July 19
earliest and July 22 latest. As of 7:56 am, they have implemented
rotational manual load dropping for services restored already due to
generation deficiency. All generation on stream are coming from the north.
This deficiency is the inability of power plants from the south to churn
out available capacities due to transmission outages. Related supply
problem is still brought about by supply deficiency.
