interrogate the upcoming ASEAN integration so that Filipinos, particularly
student leaders, will have a better grasp of its impact on education and on
issues affecting the youth.

The keynote speaker is an educator, scholar, playwright, columnist, and
former Department of Education undersecretary. Dr. Cruz will discuss the
possible implications of the ASEAN integration on Philippine education and
its youth sector. Representatives from the Department of Foreign Affairs,
the academe, and other sectors will participate in the plenary session.
