Basic Japanese Language for Teens

Period: April 15 - May 10, 2013 (Monday-Friday)
Time:   8:30 - 9:30AM
Venue:  Ateneo de Manila University, Loyola Heights, Quezon City

Nihongo for Young People is part of our outreach program that is open  
to young people (Ateneo and non-Ateneo students) from 13 to 19 years  
Our goal is to promote the understanding of Japan through its language  
in the young generation.

What can I learn?
Nihongo for Young People is a course for beginners. It focuses on  
basic communication skills, particularly through speaking and  
listening. The course also introduces a basic knowledge of Japanese  
characters for everyday use in Japan.

At the end of the course, you will be able to:
- Use basic Japanese in a variety of everyday situations
- Express your ideas in simple Japanese
- Understand what you are told in Japanese
- Recognize basic Japanese characters, especially Hiragana

Registration and Payment
- Course fee is P3,500 inclusive of handouts and other materials, 20  
hours of instruction and a certificate at the end of the course
- Registration form is available at the JSP office or downloadable at
- Cash, check and bank payments are accepted. Checks should be payable  
to Ateneo de Manila University
- For Metrobank over-the-counter payments, please fax to us the  
validated Metrobank Payment Slip with your registration form.

* Schedule may change due to a typhoon or other unexpected events.
** A student who withdraws from the course before classes start will  
get a 50% refund. There will be no more refunds after the start of the  
course, except when the class is dissolved for insufficient number of  
registrants. Student refund in such case will be in FULL.
