[Blueboard] Ateneo de Manila University celebrates Nutrition Week

In celebration of the Nutrition Month, the school cafeterias of the Loyola
Schools, Ateneo High School and Ateneo Grade School will launch
simultaneous Nutrition Awareness campaigns on July 22-26, 2013.

The week also launches the “Green Friday” initiative, year-long commitment
to provide vegetables or fruit portions with meals every Friday.

On Nutrition Week, the LS and AHS communities can look forward to the
following special offerings:  July 22-Fruit Day; July 23-Fiber Day; July
24-Vitamin C Day; July 25-Fish Day; July 26-Green Friday. At the Ateneo
Grade School, a parallel “Blue Eats Green” campaign will highlight the
following special menus:  July 23-One Big Bite (Fruits); July 24-One Big
Gulp (Water); July 25–Brown Rice Day; July 26 – OMG! Oh my Gulay Day.

The Nutrition Week celebration is a joint effort of the following offices
and food outlets: Office of the Vice President for the Loyola Schools,
Office of Food Safety and Quality Assurance, AGS Assistant Headmaster for
Student Affairs, Unit Health Services (LS, AHS and AGS), respective
Nutrition and Food Safety Advisory Councils  (LS, AHS and AGS), Sanggunian
ng mga Mag-aaral ng mga Paaralang Loyola ng Pamantasang Ateneo de Manila
(SANGGU), Council of Organizations of the Ateneo (COA) , Health Sciences
Society (HSS), JGSOM Student Enterprise Center (JSEC), University Food
Outlets, and the Human Resource Management Office.
