ABSTRACT
This lecture aims to open the possibilities and raise the chances of  
studying in China, be it a short-term language course or a degree in  
post-graduate studies. Through the first-hand encounters of the  
speaker, the talk exhibits the joys, cultural differences, pros and  
cons, and the whole experience of living and studying abroad.

ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Emilio Lopue Jr. Lopue, acquired his Bachelor of Science in  
Management, Major in Legal Management degree from the Ateneo de Manila  
University in 2009. Mr. Lopue received a scholarship grant from the  
Renmin University of China where he is currently taking up Master?s  
Degree in International Relations. The scholarship was awarded by the  
Office of the Chinese Language International Confucius Institute as a  
part of his prize for winning first place in the 7th Chinese Bridge  
Proficiency Competition for College Student held in Changsa, Hunan  
Province, China in 2008.
