[Blueboard] Amb. Alfredo M. Yao Intellectual Property Awards

The School of Science and Engineering would like to announce that the  
ADMU Department of Chemistry has three (03) and not just two  
Ambassador Alfredo M. Yao Intellectual Property  Awards winners in its  
midst.

They are Dr. Erwin Enriquez and Mr. Jerick Imbao (BS Ch 2012) for  
their work entitled "Method for Producing Carbon from Glycerol", and  
Ms. Eunice Mae Biteng for her MS thesis work at the University of the  
Philippines - Manila entitled "Diagnosis and Detection of Dengue Virus  
Infection Using Chicken Egg Antibodies".

Erwin and Jerick won the AMY IP Award for Luzon and NCR, while Eunice  
and her UPM co-workers won the  National AMY IP Award.

Dr. Enriquez is an Associate Professor of Chemistry, while Ms. Biteng  
is an Assistant Instructor.

They received their awards during the Concluding Plenary of the 38th  
Philippine
Business Conference on October 11, 2012  at the Manila Hotel.
