[Blueboard] Correction: Dr. Erwin Enriquez and Jerick Imbao - A.M.Y. Intellectual Property Awardees

The School of Science and Engineering is pleased to annouce that Dr.
Erwin P. Enriquez, Associate Professor of the Department of Chemistry,
and his student  Mr. Jerick Imbao, BS Chemistry 2012 (Honorable
Mention), won the 2012 Alfredo M. Yao Intellectual Property Award for
Luzon and NCR.  They were recognized for their research/invention
entitled "Producing Carbon from Glycerol".

The Alfredo M. Yao IP Awards (A.M.Y. IP Awards) was launched by the
Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) in cooperation with
the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines (IPOPHL) in  2008 to
"recognize inventors who contribute to the development of innovative new
products, services, and globally competitive technologies which introduce
more efficient and more effective approaches to doing business in the
country."

The awarding ceremonies will be held on Thursday, October 11, 2012 in
Manila Hotel.
