[Blueboard] Presentation of the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies

The Development Studies Program would like to invite everyone to a
presentation of the academic programs of the Graduate Institute of
International and Development Studies, Geneva
today, Monday, November 19, 430 p.m. to 6 p.m. SOM 105.

The Institute offers Interdisciplinary Masters in International Affairs
and Development Studies and Masters and PhDs in Development
Studies, Anthropology and Sociology of Development, Development Economics
(PhD only), International Economics,  International History, International
Law, and  International Relations/ Political Science.

The presenter is Dr. Marlyne Sahakian, a graduate of the Institute and a
research fellow at the Institute of Philippine Culture.

Itunu Kuku, a 2010 graduate of AB Development Studies has completed his
Masters in Development Studies from the Graduate Institute. Another
graduate of AB Development Studies, Seo Young So (batch 2011), is currently
completing her Masters in Development Studies from the Graduate Institute.


The Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies is one of
the world’s leading centres of teaching and research focusing on
international relations and development issues. The Graduate Institute
offers a wide range of postgraduate (master and PhD) programmes in
international relations, international law, international history,
international economics, anthropology and development studies and awards
over 200 scholarships (for a total student body of 800). The Institute has
a long-standing reputation of excellence and is home to a diverse and
vibrant group of students and faculty from all over the world (80% of
students are international).

A member of APSIA, the Graduate Institute is regularly quoted amongst

Kellenberger (President ICRC). Being situated in Geneva, the Graduate
