SUBJECT:        27 November 2012 Special Academic Convocation

Everyone is invited to attend the Special Academic Convocation to be held on

Tuesday, 27 November 2012
3:30 pm
Leong Hall Auditorium

for the conferment of the Gawad Tanglaw ng Lahi to David C Medalla as  
part of the 2012 Traditional University Awards and in line with his  
project facilitated by the Art Gallery. The opening of his “Tuloy Po  
Kayo” exhibit at the Ateneo Art Gallery follows immediately after the  
convocation.

In line with this event, please take note of the following:

1. Suspension of classes and closing of offices.
In order to allow all faculty, administrators, student  
representatives, professionals and non-teaching personnel to attend  
this University function, classes (both graduate and undergraduate)  
will be suspended on Tuesday, 27 November at 1:30pm, and will resume  
at 6pm. Offices will be closed for the duration of the ceremony.   
Assembly time for those joining the processional is at 3pm.  
(Directional signs will be posted.)

2. Cap and gown measurement and claiming.
For this occasion, all faculty and administrators are expected to join  
the processional in academic cap and gown. Arrangements have been made  
with Cattleya Shoppe for faculty and administrators who need to be  
measured for the togas. The Vice President’s Office will cover the  
rental cost of the cap and gown. The schedule of toga measurement and  
pick up is as follows:

3. Sign-up sheet.
Kindly acknowledge your attendance and indicate your instruction  
regarding the toga arrangements on the SIGN-UP REPLY SLIP with your  
Department/Program /Office Secretary; to be submitted to the Office of  
the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs (ADAA) c/o Ms. Minda Renomeron  
by Wednesday, 14 November 2012.
