LITERACY ACROSS THE CURRICULUM  (Ed 246.2 Reading in the Content Areas)

Learning to learn involves skills now referred to as literacy skills.   
Acquisition and learning of literacy skills are needed because they  
encompass all learning situations and activities.

The seminar-workshop helps teachers of all subjects or courses in  
using literacy skills, namely: listening, speaking, reading, writing,  
and thinking in their teaching.

FUNDAMENTALS OF REGISTRARSHIP (Ed 215)

This course is intended to familiarize the participants with the  
management functions and mandates of the registrar. This will is  
accomplished by discussing specific responsibilities and operational  
concerns connected to the position.

By understanding the organizational set-up of the registrar?s office  
and its flow of operations, it is hoped that the participants will  
also gain an understanding the office as an integral component of the  
educational institution.

Facilitators provide practical applications of theories by discussing  
current administrative issues dealt with by present registrars.
