The Sumitomo Foundation is a non-profit grant-making organization
established in 1991 with a purpose of contributing to the betterment of
human society. In order to promote the mutual understanding between Japan
and other Asian countries, the Sumitomo Foundation invites applications for
the Grant for *Japan-related Research Projects and the Grant for Projects
for the Protection*, *Preservation and Restoration of Cultural Properties
