Continued call for Donations for
the victims of Typhoon Pablo
In the midst of this season of Advent, the ordeal inflicted by typhoon
Pablo upon our fellow Filipinos in Compostela Valley and Davao del
Before the onset of the Christmas and New Year breaks, the Ateneo de
Manila Disaster Response and Management (DReaM) Team makes this
further call for monetary donations for the countless victims in those
areas. (In view of distance and transportation considerations,
donations in kind are not being solicited. You may however wish to
donate those through other channels.)
Proceeds of this fund-raising effort are principally sent to the
Ateneo de Davao University, teams from which have been and will
continue to be mobilizing throughout the Christmas and New Year?s
holidays to reach victims in hard-hit areas and to help them cope with
their devastation, deprivation and suffering.
The funds will especially help defray the logistical costs of
psychology professors and professionals from Ateneo de Davao and
elsewhere who are volunteering to render psycho-social support
services in Mindanao.
Collection tables are set up at the ground level of Xavier Hall prior
to (that is, from 7:30 to 8:30pm) and after (up to about 10:30pm) each
of the Simbang Gabi masses from December 15 to 23, 2012 at the Church
of the Gesu, to receive any donations which may be made by those
attending the masses.
Monetary donations may also be made locally or abroad by any of the
means listed below.

Cash and Check donations may be delivered directly to the Cashier?s
offices at the Grade School, High School, Loyola Schools, and the
Ateneo Professional Schools at Rockwell, Makati.
All checks should be made payable to the order of Ateneo de Manila
University FAO Dream Team.
Checks may also be sent to the Office of the Vice President for Social
Development (Atty. Jaime G. Hofileña), Room 209 Xavier Hall, Ateneo de
Manila University, Katipunan Avenue, Loyola Heights, Quezon City 1108.
Please indicate donor's name, contact number, and address so that an
official receipt can be sent to the donor.
NOTE: All University offices ? including cashiers? windows ? will be
closed from Dec. 20, 2012 to Jan. 6, 2013.
