SUCCESS STRATEGIES FOR TEACHING KIDS WITH AUTISM:
Children CONNECTING to Life Experiences

This seminar-workshop aims to ?connect? the participants? knowledge
and understanding of behavioral strategies to children and their life
experiences. This is done through a functional behavior analysis. This
entails analysis of the current behavior to determine why the child
is exhibiting such behavior. The goal then isn't only to teach a new
behavior, but rather to replace a behavior that a child is already
exhibiting, a behavior that is either inappropriate or inadequate in
meeting the child's needs.
