CALL FOR APPLICATIONS 


API Fellowships Program

(Grant Year 2013-2014)

 

The Nippon Foundation Fellowships for Asian Public Intellectuals (API Fellowships Program) is now accepting applications for Grant Year 2013-2014. Applications will be accepted from July 1 to August 31, 2012.

 

The API Fellowships Program is open to anyone involved in the production and exchange of knowledge, ideas, and inspiration, in line with the goals of the Program. This includes academics, researchers, mass media professionals, artists, creative writers, NGO workers/activists, social workers, public servants and others who are committed to working for the betterment of society by applying their professional knowledge, wisdom, and experience.

 

The Program enables individuals to conduct research projects and other professional activities in the API Participating Countries (Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia and Thailand). Senior Category Fellowships last for a minimum of 1 month to a maximum of 12 months (continuous period), while API Category Fellowships last for a minimum of 4 months to a maximum of 12 months (continuous period).

 

Proposed projects may take place anytime starting from July 1, 2013 and must be completed by July 31, 2014. The grant provides for: international air tickets, international travel insurance, domestic transportation, housing, stipend, and research allowance for the duration of fellowship activities abroad.
