[Blueboard] QS Asian University Rankings released, ADMU is 65th in Asia

The QS Asian University Rankings 2011 have just been published on
www.topuniversities.com <http://www.topuniversities.com/> , partner
websites, and in leading media in Asia and beyond.

This year, Ateneo de Manila University is ranked 65 in Asia, and 2nd in the
Philippines, with an overall score of 57.2. Other RP universities in the top
200 are: University of the Philippines (62nd in Asia, 1st in RP), University
of Santo Tomas (104th in Asia, 3rd in RP), and De La Salle University (107th
in Asia, 4th in RP).

The rankings are based on the following criteria: 

1. Research quality 
Indicators and weights: Asian academic peer review, 30%; Papers per faculty,
15%; Citations per paper, 15%

2. Teaching quality
Indicator and weight: Student-faculty ratio, 20%

3. Graduate employability

Indicators and weights: Asian employer review, 10%

4. Internationalization
Indicators and weights: International faculty, 2.5%; International students,
2.5%; Inbound exchange students, 2.5%; Outbound exchange students, 2.5%
