Thank you for posting.

-----------------------

ACAS would like to invite the faculty members of the Loyola Schools to
submit papers on comparative studies on Asia. The paper should not
have been published anywhere else, or being considered for
publication. The paper may be in any discipline and any topic, as long
as it is comparative (at least two countries). Asia is here defined as
Northeast Asia, South Asia, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East.
Recommended length is between 8,000 to 12,000 words. Please use the
Chicago style for social sciences (downloadable from the internet) for
your citations and bibliography.

ACAS, in cooperation with Asia-Phil (Asian Studies Association of the
Philippines) and the Institute of Southeast Asian Studies of Pusan
University of Foreign Studies, will hold a conference on November 25,
2011 on comparative Asian studies. The papers may be presented in this
conference, but even if a paper is not presented here for some reasons
(author?s schedule or lack of space in the program, for example), as
long as it passes the necessary peer review, it may be included in the
publication.

ACAS will submit the manuscript to the Ateneo de Manila University
Press for publication. It is the Ateneo Press, therefore, who will
choose the peer reviewers and make the final decision.

Please submit the tentative title of your paper and an abstract (100
to 200 words) to acas at admu.edu.ph on or before July 1, 2011. Full
paper should be submitted on November 25, 2011.
