[Blueboard] Lecture on Lucresia Kasilag, Special Performance by Fides Cuyugan Asensio

In celebration of the National Arts Month, the Department of
Interdisciplinary Studies invites you to a lecture by Dr. Christine
Muyco on the last opus of the late National Artist for Music Lucresia
Kasilag on February 4, 2011, 4:30-6:00 PM, at the Social Sciences
Conference Rooms 3 and 4.

Dr. Muyco, head of the Composition and Theory Department of the
College of Music, University of the Philippines, will lecture on "Why
Flowers Bloom in May," the last opera composed by  Kasilag.  There
will be a special performance by legendary soprano Ms. Fides
Cuyugan-Asensio, the opera's librettist, at the end of the lecture.
