Dear Colleagues,

The purpose of this letter is to formally invite you and officials  
from your institute, on behalf of the Institute of Language Art and  
Culture (ILAC), Suan Dusit Rajabhat University, to take part in the  
upcoming conference entitled ?ASEAN Cultural Diversity?, which will be  
held in Bangkok on August 2-3, 2011.

With the cooperation of the Ministry of Culture, ILAC will hold the  
conference in order to celebrate the establishment of the ASEAN  
Community in 2015. The main theme of the conference will focus on the  
cultural diversity of all ten ASEAN countries, which include Brunei  
Darussalam, the Federation of Malaysia, the Kingdom of Cambodia, the  
Kingdom of Thailand, the Lao People?s Democratic Republic, the  
Republic of Indonesia, the Republic of Singapore, the Republic of the  
Philippines, the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the Union of Myanmar.

Contributions may include workshops, poster presentations, and  
presentations of past and ongoing research, which can help to inspire  
interest and enlighten others on subjects related to culture in the  
ASEAN region.
