MEMO TO : The University Community

FROM : The President

On 25-26 November 2010, University personnel (administrative
officers, professionals, faculty and staff)
are invited to come together to honor colleagues for loyal service.
The main awarding ceremony will be on Thursday, November 25, 2010, at
the Ateneo High School Covered Courts while the Presidential Luncheon
in honor of Special Awardees (those who have rendered 25 years and
above) will be on Friday, November 26, 2010, at the Ateneo Grade
School Auditorium. I request Unit Heads to adjust class and work
schedules accordingly.

Some reminders:

1. Awardees: Come in smart casual (or Sunday best) attire. Since
the program will start promptly at 3:00 p.m., awardees are requested
to be at the Covered Courts and seated by 2:30 p.m. The seating
arrangement will be according to the sequence of the awards to be
given onstage.

For easy identification by the ushers, please wear the stickers that
will be sent to you thru your unit representatives. Awardees who
arrive after the Processional but before the Welcome Address is
finished, will be seated with their co-awardees only after the Welcome

Awardees, who arrive after the awardees who came late are seated, will
not be allowed to go up the stage. Their names will however be read.
Awards may be claimed backstage after the Program or at the Human
Resources Management Office (HRMO) at a later date.

2. Wishers/Greeters: A designated area will be assigned to those
who would like to give tokens of appreciation/recognition to their
respective unit awardees.

3. Special Guests: There are reserved seats for: the
spouse/special guest of this year?s special awardees; retirees;
current and former administrative officers and other special guests.
They will be given Special Guest Cards that they will have to present
to the ushers.

4. Souvenir Program: Copies of the souvenir program will be
distributed before the start of the program.

5. Souvenir Photos: Official photographers will take photos of the
awardees as they receive their awards onstage. Each awardee will be
given a souvenir copy. No other photographers will be allowed near
the area of the stage.

6. Campus Traffic and Parking: Traffic will be coordinated by our
campus security personnel. Parking space will be reserved in the High
School parking lot for the officials joining the stage party and for
special guests.

7. Reception: Light refreshments will be served immediately after
the program at the back of the Covered Courts. Please allow the
processional to exit the stage and proceed to the back of the High
School covered courts before you stand up to leave the audience area.

Congratulations to all our awardees.
