AIKIDO is a discipline that emphasizes HARMONY and the peaceful
resolution of conflict.
While AIKIDO practitioners are always dealing with techniques
that have the potential to be LETHAL (thus, training demands the
utmost concentration and intensity), the DISCIPLINE itself aims at
unifying the body and spirit with the natural forces of the universe,
fostering COMPASSION, WISDOM, and FEARLESSNESS.
The Ateneo Aikido Club was organized by a group of Cervini residents
in July 1991.
