[Blueboard] Microsoft Imagine Cup World Finals

The Imagine Cup is a yearly competition that Microsoft holds, which  
has the five main segments: Software Design, Embedded Development,  
Game Design, Digital
Media, and IT Challenge.

This year, two teams with representatives from Ateneo advanced to  
Round 2 including:

Shire's Army with Team members:

Xander Cruz II BSCS
Janssen Go IV BSCS
Steph Go II BSCS
Verno Gutierrez II BSCS

Mentor: Mr. David Diy, Instructor, DISCS

AND

By Implication with Team members:

Philip Cheang (BFA ID graduate)
Wilhansen Li (BS CS graduate, double majoring in BS MA)
Rodrick Tan (BS ME graduate)
Levi Tan-Ong (BS Ch Eng in UP)

Mentored by: Kenneth Yu

"By Implication" made it into the World Finals by being ranked as one  
of the Top 6 teams out of 150 entries in Round 2, and 700 entries in  
Round 1. The team will be competing in Poland this year from July 3 to  
8.

The Department of Information Systems and Computer Science  
congratulates our students for qualifying (again) in the World Finals  
of the Microsoft Imagine Cup competition.
