COMMUNICATION: The New Rizal Library is the first Ateneo de Manila
University building that has full Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP)
telephone system.

TRAFFIC: Traditionally, traffic gets heavier towards the Christmas season
and accidents tend to also increase. The accident on campus at 8:20 p.m.
last Thursday, 12 November did not fit the pattern. Traffic was light when
a car that entered Gate 3 going to the Residence Hall was hit by vehicle
crossing University Road going to Gate 3.5. Nobody was injured and damage
to the vehicles was minor. Repair of both vehicles would still be costly
and inconvenient for both parties.

8:30 p.m., Thursday, 12 Nov.: Gray sedan and red van at the intersection of
University Road and exit of West carpark/diversion road.

3:45 a.m., Saturday, 14 Nov.: Early morning accident along Katipunan
Avenue. Two northbound vehicles coming from the flyover smashed on each
other before the U-turn slot under the Gate 2.5 footbridge. According to
the traffic investigator, the sedan lost control and hit a taxi. The taxi
cab hit the concrete barrier and the sedan smashed into the railings of the
center island. Both drivers were uninjured but the passenger of the sedan
was slightly injured.

The driver of the sedan was reportedly intoxicated.
GONZAGA DROP OFF AREA: A memo regarding the New Traffic and Parking
Procedures for the 2nd Semester for Loyola Schools has been released by
ADSA: LS Traffic & Parking Procedures. (Please click

This should improve drop off at the Gonzaga Hall area and improve traffic
flow on campus.

SECURITY: At 10:30 a.m. last Friday, 13 November a coed reported her laptop
missing at the MVP center. According to her, she left her laptop at 9:00
a.m. inside a steel cabinet in room 204 occupied by two student
organizations. The cabinet was unlocked.

Reviewing the CCTV video at the Office of Student Activities (OSA), an
unidentified man was seen entering the room twice before leaving the room
with a bag that resembled the bag of a laptop. The man entered and left the
MVP center via the basement where there is no guard.

10:04 a.m.: The suspect is entering the MVP Leadership Center (MVPSLC)
basement and up in the 2nd floor.
10:08 a.m.: The suspect is shown in the 2nd floor of MVPSLC freely roaming
around. At 10:11 a.m. the suspect is shown leaving the area. Note that he
is not carrying a bag.
10:17 a.m.: The suspect is again seen going back to the 2nd floor heading
towards the far end of the corridor. Rightmost picture show the suspect
entering Room 204.
10:18 a.m.: The suspect is now shown carrying a bag (believed to be the
laptop of the coed).
No close up picture was taken of the suspect. Right most picture gives an
idea of the suspect.
10:19 a.m.: The suspect leaving MVPSL Center
