The guest speaker is Mr. Levi Johnsen, an 18 year old community/field
organizer, one of the 5,000 full time organizers deployed during the
Obama Presidential campaign. He started as a volunteer and ended up
working full time empowering volunteers to campaign for Barack Obama.
He recorded a 94% voter turn-out for Obama in the precincts he was
assigned to in Colorado.

Levi is a nephew of Bruce Young, a peace corps volunteer who
eventually lived with the Mangyans of Mindoro for 14 years. Young
helped IPs in mapping out their ancestral domain claims, and married
Jane Austria, currently the National Coordinator of Philippine
Community Organizers' Society (PhilCOS).
