Korean 2: Upper Beginner Korean Certificate Course

Course Description:
Korean 2 is a continuation of Korean 1, which aims to enhance basic competency
in the language through acquisition of new vocabularies and their application
to more complex sentence structures. The course will also introduce new speech
styles and expressions that will cover the following topics: imperative/command

sentences in formal form; basic prepositions; propositive/suggestive exchanges;

object, time and action-location particles; rules of pronunciation for special
syllabic pairs, etc.

Upon completion of Korean 2, students will be able to read with improved
comprehension, write with much creativity through an expanded vocabulary;
formulate questions and answers with proper conjugations; and speak with
enhanced confidence.

Korean 2 Section A | Instructor: Ms. Sarah Jane O. Domingo
February 18 to March 30, 2009
Wednesdays (5:30-8:30 pm OR 6:00-9:00 pm) and Saturdays (9:30-12:30 am)
*Class schedules may be arranged once the class is finalized.

Registration fee for thirty hours of instruction (inclusive of instructional
materials):
*Php 4,500.00 per student
*Php 4,000.00 per student for a group of not less than ten people
*Php 3,000.00 for Ateneo faculty and staff
Payment options include Metrobank deposit or you may pay directly at our office
