On July 31, 2009, the Feast Day of St. Ignatius of Loyola, one of the
country's leading business newspapers BusinessWorld launched a new
twice-a-month column that will bring to light the Ateneo de Manila
University's agenda for hope for our country. These columns are based
on the Agenda for Hope papers that will be published and launched this
school year, as the scholarly work contribution of the Loyola Schools
to commemorate the Sesquicentennial year of the Ateneo.

Every second and fourth Tuesday of the month beginning August 4,
BusinessWorld will publish articles in this new column authored by a
pool of writers from the Ateneo. The launching piece authored by
Ateneo de Manila President Bienvenido F. Nebres, SJ can be read here:
http://www.ateneo.edu/index.php?p=120&type=2&sec=29&aid=7079

The second essay is published in today's issue (Aug 11), authored by
Dr. Agustin Martin Rodriguez of the Philosophy Department. Read it
here: http://www.bworldonline.com/BW081109/content.php?id=145

Watch out for the succeeding columns throughout the Sesquicentennial
year! For August and September, the theme is on Democratizing
Governance.
