Invitation to:

Second Semester 2008-2009

Retreats in Daily Life are simple and adaptable. They are designed to fit with
the participants’ daily commitments and activities. Instead of going away from
the ordinary realities of daily living, retreatants bring these into retreat,
praying with them and looking for the connection between their faith and their
living. The program will run for 10 weeks.

Sign up at the Campus Ministry Office beginning November 26, 2008.
Retreat begins week of January 5, 2009 and ends week of March 16, 2009

Eight Day Retreat
April 3 to 12, 2009
Tagaytay City

Holy Week Triduum Retreat
April 8 to 12, 2009
Tagaytay City

Three Day Silent Retreat
May 28 to 31, 2009
Cenacle Retreat House

A time for rest, silence, listening and prayer. The Spiritual Exercises of St.
Ignatius is used as framework for these retreats.

We experience how fast and easy it is to be lost in the daily grind and lose
focus. Our hearts deeply yearn for momentary yet meaningful rests, to keep us
on track and give us deeper grounding in our journey. On the following first
Fridays, let us come together to share the Word and break bread in the
Eucharist. Jesuit priests are invited to preside and lead in this activity.

Time:	6:00 to 7:30 pm
Venue: College Chapel
February 6, March 6, and April 3, 2009

Spiritual direction is the practice of being with people as they attempt to
deepen their relationship with God or to learn and grow in their faith life.
The person seeking direction shares stories of his/her encounters of God, or
he/she is experiencing spiritual questions and issues. The director listens
asks questions to assist the directee in his/her process of reflection and
spiritual growth. Spiritual direction develops a deeper relationship with the
spiritual aspect of being human. It is not psychotherapy, counseling or
financial planning.

With the help of your spiritual director, you will become more conscious of how
truly active God is in your life and how you might better cooperate with God’s
gift of grace.

Regular direction involves a one hour meeting every 4 to 8 weeks.

Sign up at the Campus Ministry beginning November 26, 2008.
