The Environmental Science for Social Change is a non-stock non-profit Jesuit
research institute undertaking national and scientific research work that
contributes to a better understanding and appropriate management of the
environment and natural resources for human development.  It works with
communities and local governments in the development, planning,
implementation, and monitoring of natural resource management plans.


The Finance Assistant reports to the Finance Associate.  Based in Quezon
City, the job covers accounting and finance functions of petty cash,
disbursements, check preparation, bank transactions, monitoring, and
reporting. This is a position involving finances and cash disbursement and
therefore demands a high level of trustworthiness, transparency, and



Main Responsibilities


1.	Petty cash fund custodianship, disbursement, and reporting
2.	Disbursement vouchers preparation and scheduling
3.	Check payments preparation and payment transactions with specific
4.	Project fund balance monitoring
5.	Cash advance and liquidation processing and monitoring
6.	Performs other functions as assigned by the Finance Associate



Qualifications, Experience and Personal Qualities


1.       Preferably a graduate of accounting or business related course

2.       With one to two years of related work experience

3.       Can write and speak English well

4.       Can work well under pressure

5.       Efficient, accurate, organized and systematic in maintaining files
and correspondence
