ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE FOR SOCIAL CHANGE (ESSC)

 

HUMAN RESOURCES ADMINISTRATOR

 

 

The Environmental Science for Social Change is a non-stock non-profit Jesuit
research institute undertaking national and scientific research work that
contributes to a better understanding and appropriate management of the
environment and natural resources for human development.  It works with
communities and local governments in the development, planning,
implementation, and monitoring of natural resource management plans.

 

The Human Resources Administrator reports directly to the Chief of Staff.
Based in Quezon City, the job requires managing and monitoring personnel
information and needs and ensuring the implementation of the Institute's
Human Resource policies.  The job also includes responsibility for
administration services.

 

 

Main Responsibilities

 

1.	Employment contract management and monitoring
2.	Salary and benefits administration
3.	Hiring and recruitment
4.	HR information management and compliance with due diligence
requirements
5.	Performance evaluation and staff development (with the Chief of
Staff)
6.	Administration services management and coordination
7.	Performs other functions as the Chief of Staff may assign from time
to time.

 

Qualifications, Experience and Personal Qualities

 

1.       Graduate of Human Resources Management, Psychology or a similar
course

2.       At least three years of relevant experience, preferably in a
development context or from the corporate sector that covered similar areas

3.       Can write and speak English well

4.       Can work proactively, is a self-starter and can work well under
pressure

5.       Has an assertiveness that is balanced with diplomacy and tact

6.       Efficient, accurate, organized, and systematic in maintaining files
and correspondence
